In the Kana-doodler, Ginger Kanadoo blogs from the trenches of Squamskootnocket, New York's white hot real estate market. Here is where you can "Ask Ginger!" about everything from hiding dry rot to explaining the difference between ingress, egress and egrets after a few glasses of Open House Chardonnay!

If you love reading Ginger's blog, don't miss her further adventures in Cracks in the Foundation, available in August, 2008.

About

A life-long resident of Squamskootnocket, NY, Ginger Kanadoo follows an unbroken line of Kanadoo realtors that stretches back to the legendary Myles Cornish Kanadoo, 18th century fur-trader and real estate magnate whose untimely death by stoning in an unrelated sheep incident is mourned to this day.

A proud graduate of Squamskootnocket High, Ginger was 1st alternate on the “Skooter Cheetahs” cheerleading squad during her 1964-65 academic year, when she was also voted “Most Likely to Never Leave Town”. According to the Squamskootnocket yearbook — “The ‘Nocket” — Ginger’s goals included helming the Gummy Bear Factory float in the ‘Squam Parade, and not getting pregnant. After a brief stint in the performing arts as “2nd Alternate Crowd Member” during the ‘Skootnocket Players production of “Brigadoon”, Ginger got down to business. Following in her mom’s (”Big Jean Kanadoo”) footprints, as well as those of her Aunt Maxie Kanadoo, Ginger has become a real estate legend of sorts in the white-hot Lower to Mid Eastern NY regional real estate niche!
