Why thank you, I DO pride myself on keeping strong regardless of which wine-producing great has succumbed to life’s mortal coils, something like that. Cuz when the going gets tough, the tough reach for the corkscrew!

The purported affair with Bobby M is completely false and utterly scurrilous. That dreamy personal tour of his vineyards in the early ’90’s was purely to see where white zin comes from, the very sap of life! not to fall into his strong, virile, grape-smashing grip — I mean it was just a momentary, zinfandel-induced slip — a blip of time that may or may not have had anything to do with my beautiful daughter emerging nine months later…I mean, who’s to say?

After that weekend he wanted nothing to do with me, tossed me aside like so much cheap Sutter Home. So yes, maybe there was a glimmer of something but that was eighteen long years ago…and Harvest doesn’t know so shhhhhhhhhhhh!
